AUTUMN....PART2

down through the top, almost to the bottom, add brown sugar, cinnamon, butter, raisins, nuts...whatever you like. Push the dough back together and let rise a bit more. Bake according to package. When it comes out of the oven, you can make a frosting of powdered sugar, vanilla and milk. Frost while still warm.
Pumpkin Bread
Makes 2 to 3 loaves
3 1/2 c flour
3 c sugar
1 t nutmeg
1 t cinnamon
1 1/2 t salt
2 t baking soda
1 c vegetable oil
2/3 c water
4 eggs, beaten
2 c pumpkin, no spices added
Sift dry ingredients. Add oil and water. Mix. Add eggs. Add pumpkin. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
Great for gifts.
