At my old home I had an ugly slab of cement for a walkway to the front door. It was alot of work to remove the concrete, so I hired a handyman for that.
(The pot on top of the milkcan is a corn popper. It looked better in person.)
I dug down to make the dirt level. I bought a large clean tarp and sand….play and builders sand.
First I put the tarp into place, covering the walkway. The tarp keeps the weeds down. Then I poured builders sand in and leveled again. I set my bricks in the walkway and covered them with play sand, sweeping it into the cracks.
