I love my sister, Cher…but she has just created havoc in my home and she doesn’t even know it! She sent these pictures from a restaurant she was at….and I can’t get the images out of my mind. I can’t do this in my house….we have 2 bathrooms that were remodeled before we bought the house…and Bobby might get upset if I rip them out. I bet he’s hiding the baby sledge as we speak!
BUT….I am not too proud to have an outhouse!( it’s okay….we live in the country) OR…in the laundry room? Sears Catalogs and all! I don’t know if you can see the picture well, but the sinks are done with washpans and it looks like a small cooking pan with the bottom cut out to throw paper towels into. Wouldn’t this be cute with feed sack towels and a bar of lye soap in a galvanized miniature washtub? And a graniteware chamber pot! It looks like they put mirror you could see out of, but not in to. I love the gingham. Whoever did this had imagination and a fun outlook on life.
I might have to sell this house and buy a fixer upper!
I want to add country decorating posts and was going to wait until after Christmas, but this is too cute not to share now, and again!
